HYROX World Championships 2027 Head to Hong Kong

After Stockholm in 2026, the HYROX World Championships are going to Asia. The 2027 edition will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, the first World Championships in the Asia-Pacific region.

When is it?

Multiple sources, including HYROX’s Las Vegas event page, list June 10–13, 2027. HYROX hasn’t released tickets or the full schedule yet, and one overview page shows a different date, so treat June 10–13 as the working date until the schedule is final.

How to qualify

There are two main routes.

• Elite: The top three from each of the five Elite Series races qualify directly. Las Vegas is Race 4.
• Age group: Age-group racers qualify through results at regular HYROX races during the season. Reports say the window runs through races up to the weekend of May 16, 2027, with later races counting toward 2028.

HYROX Las Vegas on March 12–14, 2027 falls inside that window. Check HYROX’s qualification rules for your division and age group, since slot numbers vary.

Planning a trip from Las Vegas

Hong Kong is a long-haul trip from Las Vegas with at least one connection. If you’re chasing a qualifying spot:

1. Race Las Vegas in March to make your attempt close to home.
2. Have a backup race before mid-May in case you miss out. Phoenix and other spring West Coast races are within easy reach.
3. Check your passport now. Six months of validity beyond your travel dates is a safe rule for international trips.

Keep in mind

World Championship doubles partners can’t be substituted under the 2026/27 rules, even for injury. Choose your partner carefully. More in every 2026/27 rule change.
