What is Challenger 15?
Challenger 15 is for athletes ranked 16th to 30th on the official leaderboard. They race on the same stage as the Elite 15, and strong results earn a place in the next Elite 15 field. It gives the next generation a direct route to the top, and it doubles the number of top-level athletes at each Elite Series race.
How World Championship qualification works
The top three finishers from each Elite Series race qualify directly for the 2027 World Championships in Hong Kong. Five races with three spots each means 15 direct qualifiers per gender before the season ends.
Elite licensing changes
Hybrid Fitness Media reports that the Elite license moved to a weekly invitation system, the price rose to €499, and doubles partnership rules got stricter.
