The Vegas racer’s road-trip map
You don’t need to fly to race more than once this season. These are the closest options:
- Anaheim (early December 2026): about four hours by car. Sources list Dec 3–6 or Dec 4–6.
- Phoenix (spring 2027): about four and a half hours by car.
- San Diego (May 13–16, 2027): about five hours by car, and new this season.
- Salt Lake City: about six hours by car. The 2026 race has already run, so watch for a 2027 date.
How to plan a season
- Pick one A race. For most locals that’s Las Vegas in March. Build your training plan backwards from it.
- Add a B race 8 to 12 weeks before as a dress rehearsal. Anaheim in December fits well.
- Leave a backup before mid-May if you’re chasing a World Championship spot.
