HYROX World Records in 2026: Roncevic Breaks 52 Minutes
The fastest HYROX times ever recorded, from Alexander Roncevic's sub-52 to Joanna Wietrzyk's 54:25, plus the doubles records and what it takes to go that fast.
Key takeaways
- Alexander Roncevic ran 51:59 at the Warsaw Major on April 16, 2026, the first men's Pro time under 52 minutes.
- That beat Hidde Weersma's 52:42 from London in March 2026 by 43 seconds.
- Joanna Wietrzyk holds the women's Pro record at 54:25, also set in Warsaw in April 2026.
- Pro Doubles records: Roncevic and Tim Wenisch (47:40) for men, Lauren Weeks and Vivian Tafuto (53:11) for women.
Spring 2026 rewrote the HYROX record books twice in six weeks.
Men’s Pro: the 52-minute barrier falls
In March, Hidde Weersma ran 52:42 in London to set a new men’s Pro world record. It lasted about six weeks. At the Warsaw Major on April 16, 2026, Alexander Roncevic ran 51:59 in the Elite 15 race. That’s the first men’s time under 52 minutes and a 43-second improvement on Weersma’s mark.
For perspective, 51:59 covers eight 1 km runs plus a 202 kg sled push, a 153 kg sled pull and 100 wall balls at 9 kg, in less time than many people take to run a 10K.
Women’s Pro: Wietrzyk’s 54:25
The same Warsaw weekend produced the women’s record. Australia’s Joanna Wietrzyk ran 54:25, according to Rox Lyfe’s record tracker. She went on to take silver at the 2026 World Championships in Stockholm.

Why records are getting harder to count
Two changes for 2026/27 affect how records are counted. The Majors system ended with Warsaw, so future records will come from the Elite Series and World Championships. HYROX can also now declare an event day “Out of Ranking” if conditions affect fairness, which removes it from world-record consideration. See every 2026/27 rule change.
What it means for you
You don’t need a 52-minute engine to learn from the record holders. Their splits show the same thing every fast race does: even run pacing and no stalls at the wall balls. Plug your target into our split planner to see where your minutes go.
Record trackers differ on how quickly they update. Check HYROX’s official rankings for ratified times.
